Accounting Software Add-Ons

Business owners are busy, constantly trying to divide their time among countless, often repetitive, tasks and activities. They search for efficiencies and smarter solutions that can not only add value to their company, but also give them some of their precious time back.  Oftentimes, they barely realize where those hours are spent, as calendars fill up with mundane tasks that, while necessary, drain time relentlessly.

One way to get some of that time back is with automated accounting software, such as Accounted. By simplifying your accounting processes, you will save time and money, benefitting your business in more ways than you can count (pun intended). In addition to automating various accounting systems, there are also numerous useful add-ons to meet each business’s own unique needs.

Breaking Down Different Add-ons

Authorize.Net

Authorize.Net is a payment gateway that simplifies the process of accepting electronic payments and credit card purchases in person, online, or over the phone. Founded upon the understanding that payment processing can be a large part of business, the goal of this add-on is to help you save valuable time with the payment process. With Authorize.Net, transactions are automatically sent over a secure connection to the Processor. The Processor then passes the transaction to the Credit Card Interchange System, where Authorize.Net stores the transaction results and sends them back to the customer and/or the merchant. The integration of Authorize.Net into Accounted provides a great resource to start streamlining the processing of your payments and help to optimize cash flow.

Stripe

Stripe is a payment processing platform that can also be integrated with Accounted. It allows you to transfer money from a customer’s bank account into your business’s account via credit or debit card transactions. Stripe accomplishes this by eliminating the need to store credit card information, a limitation business owners experienced in the past. Previously, when setting up an internal online payment system, web developers had to follow strict regulations surrounding the storing of credit card information, as per the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This is a complicated process that often requires an enormous amount of paperwork and costly third-party consultation. Fortunately, Stripe takes care of much of that work for you.

ClickUp

The core focus of ClickUp is to remove frustrating inefficiencies caused by project management systems. It was created with the purpose of replacing the separate miscellaneous management tools by having them all available in one place. It’s flexible and very user-friendly. But it goes much further than mere task management. ClickUp also offers docs, reminders, goals, calendars, and even an inbox. It’s fully customizable and was developed with ease-of-use in mind so that all teams, regardless of how tech savvy they are, can use it. ClickUp saves you the headache of navigating through a variety of apps and tools because everything you need is in one centralized application – one click away with the Accounted integration.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce is a free plugin that allows you to turn a basic website into your very own online shop. After installing and activating WooCommerce, you can easily add products, develop a shopping cart, and customize a checkout page. You will also be joining thousands of other WooCommerce store owners, as it’s one of the most well-known, trusted e-Commerce plugins available. And it’s available through Accounted.

QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks has been relied upon by businesses for decades. QuickBooks Online takes that same reliability and makes it easier to access, share, and manage with today’s need for increased flexibility. QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based financial management software that was designed to slash the time you spend managing your business finances, by helping with tasks, such as:

  • Creating estimates and invoices
  • Tracking sales and income
  • Managing your customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring your tax and making income tax returns much easier
  • Understanding your company’s performance
  • Planning ahead and budgeting

Since QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based solution, there is no need to install any software. You can access it straight from any internet browser, any computer, or any web-enabled device, whenever and wherever you need.

Integrating Add-ons With Accounted

Up until now, automated accounting software has not been advanced enough to incorporate all of these valuable applications. Accounted has changed that by offering an innovative solution that captures all of your needs. With Accounted, you can centralize all of the applications you need to solve your accounting challenges in one easy-to-use platform. And faster and easier access means increased efficiency for all of your business accounting processes … and your business overall.
